If they plan to keep the series alive they need to change SO MUCH. Give the trainer anything besides the power to walk, talk to other people without talking himself, act like a retarded mute looking for pokemon, run, and hold and use a bag. Give the trainer the power to fend for himself, if he runs out of pokemon, instead of 'whiting out'. Like give the trainer the power to go use the bathroom. Like giving the trainer a power meter, and giving the trainer the power to eat food. I don't want to have to play this (almost) everytime I Play Pokemon: I would mind a new kind of batle system, too.
